Edward H. Linde
Mr. Edward H. Linde serves as Chief Executive Officer of Boston Properties and has been a director since June 23, 1997. Mr. Linde co-founded Boston Properties in 1970 after spending five years at Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, where he became Vice President and Senior Project Manager. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, a Director of Jobs for Massachusetts, and is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable. He is a past chairman of the Board of the Beth Israel Hospital, which subsequently merged to become the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center, where Mr. Linde serves as a trustee. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1962 and an MBA from Harvard Business School. His son, Douglas T. Linde, serves as our President.
