Robert E. Burke

Mr. Robert E. Burke serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for administrative policy and day-to-day control of our operations. Prior to his appointment to this position in April 1998, he served for 12 years as Senior Vice President and Co-Manager of our Washington, D.C. office. He joined us in 1979 to open our Washington, D.C. area office, serving as General Manager in charge of operations of that office until 1998. Prior to 1979, Mr. Burke spent over seven years as General Manager of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library Corporation where he directed the development of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library and Museum. He has also held engineering and management positions with General Electric Company, SCM Corporation and Harvard University. He received dual degrees in 1960 when he earned a BS from Bates College and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
